A guided tour will take you around the city of Tromsø, where you will learn about the indigenous Sami people, their traditional culture and recent history. The ride from Tromsø to Alta is breathtaking, regardless of the time of year. The award-winning Alta Museum is also on the list of memorable visits. The museum is situated at the site of early settlement in Finnmark, dating back around 11,000 years and presents exhibitions on local culture and historic industries. You will stay in Rovaniemi with its beautiful white landscape, as well as in Levi, with two nights at the Aurora Igloo Cabin - half igloo, half cabin - at the Northern Lights Village Resort. It’s a magical way to experience the wintry star-filled sky and, with some luck, the dance of the Northern Lights, all while lying comfortably in a warm bed.
